PATIENT ENGAGEMENT EVENING
Harrow East PCN recently hosted a Patient Engagement Event bringing together patients and clinicians from across the Primary Care Network (PCN). The event opened with a welcome from our PCN Clinical Director, followed by a presentation on the growing pressures facing general practice both nationally and locally, including the increasing shift of workload from secondary to primary care.
Patients were presented with the full PCN survey results, broken down by practice, sparking open discussion across a range of key themes. Facilitated breakout sessions gave attendees the opportunity to explore relevant topics in depth.
The event closed with the PCN committing to publish a clear set of actions in response to the feedback received.
